Treasure the memory of a beloved fur baby with this cast resin memorial stone, made to order using your pet's collar tags, cremated remains or shed fur. Every one is as unique and special as your pet (because each one will be customized by you!) and will be made with the highest respect and greatest of loving care by a fellow pet owner who understands how deeply the loss of pet family is felt.

HOW THIS WORKS:

Once an order is submitted and I receive the notification, I will begin the communication process by emailing you my business address, where you may send me the materials you wish to have cast in your resin memorial stone. This can be in the form of collar tags, cremated remains, or shed fur. If sending cremains or fur, please send no more than 1 oz. in a sealed, sturdy plastic bag or other suitable container. I have no need for more than this to create your stone, and wouldn't want to separate you from more of your pet than need be! I will also be asking about color preferences, such as whether your pet wore a certain color of collar, or slept on a certain color of bed, or if you simply prefer one or more colors for your stone. For example, in the photos for the listing of this item is the stone I made for my own sweet boy, Lightning Jack, who was with me for 13 years. In his stone, I used three shades of red mineral mica powder and one white. I can use one or more colors, opaque, translucent, pearlescent, the sky is the limit! Other shapes for stones are available as well, please ask if you would like something other than the heart shape.

Now, because this is a highly personalized item, I CANNOT accept returns, for any reason.

Please allow 4-6 weeks for the completion of your entire order. Keep in mind that I must wait for your pet's belongings or remains to arrive before I can even get started on casting them, and that the casting itself requires at least three layers of poured resin to create the desired effect. Each layer takes several days to cure, so this will take some time, but when the waiting is over, you will have a keepsake of your pet to treasure for the rest of your life!

Each stone will arrive in an organza presentation bag, and any cremains or fur that were not used in the casting process will be returned to you.

MAKER'S NOTES CONCERNING RESIN:

ALL resins will yellow over time and exposure to UV rays. However, the Superclear 2.0 Resin that I use in all of my pieces has been studied and proven to yellow less and to remain clear longer than almost all of its competitors! Some resin pieces will also have some bubbles in them. Such is the nature of resin. The quality of the resin I use ensures that most bubbles will be caught and removed before the curing process is complete, but occasionally it'll happen. My pieces are made by my own human hands, after all, and not stamped out of some machine in a factory, and I believe that in some cases the flaws are what makes each piece even more unique and beautiful than anything that can be mass produced. Minor scuffs, scratches and tool marks may also appear, but please keep in mind that I inspect each piece before it is shipped to ensure its quality. If I would be anything less than thrilled holding it myself, believe me, I would never ship it out to you!

Avoid having your stone come in contact with any skin care products, lotions, or chemicals such as hairspray or perfume, and display your resin stone separately from other items, out of direct sunlight, to avoid damage. To clean, gently wipe with a soft cloth. Do not use any kind of cleaning solution! If a cleaning solution is needed, you may use isopropyl rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth to clean your stone. Always handle with care, and you will be able to enjoy your pet's keepsake for years to come!
