Known Stones, Fresh Energy

Sometimes, we love a piece of jewelry so much that it is hard to let go of the stones—even when we can tell that our outward expression has moved order on and it no longer fits the new “us.”

Or sometimes, we inherit a piece with sentimental value from a loved one, but it doesn't really feel like something we would wear ourselves.

For those situations, I offer the “Known Stones, Fresh Energy,” where we collaborate to create a fresh piece with stones you already love.

Process:

1) Once you purchase this offering, I will send you a few questions about the piece you're ready to remake and its history, what intention you might already have through this process, and any style requests you might have (length, gem, finish, etc.).

2) You ship the piece you're ready to remake to me (a shipping label is included in the price—I'll send you a prepaid label).

3) I sit with the old piece and envision what might be created from it.

4) I dismantle the old piece, and then I add new stones and other types of beads until the known stones are incorporated into something new.

5) Once I have finished the new creation(s), I send you a picture of it to see how it resonates.

6) Depending on your feedback, I often revise to make sure that the design is creatively and physically aligned. Two rounds of tweaks, before sending you the new creation(s), are included in the price.

7) After this process is complete, I send the new creation(s) your way for you to enjoy. I also send back the remaining materials from the old piece.

Please note: due to the nature of this process, with materials shipped back and forth, it takes 3+ weeks to complete this custom offering.
