San Francisco by Victor order Arnautoff

This handmade 252 piece jigsaw puzzle features a small segment of Victor Arnautoff's mural in Coit Tower, San Francisco. Life and death play out across the street from each other while strangers worry about their own lives. The full mural features businesses and signs and more faces and is order absolutely worth checking out. History, talent, gorgeous setting..? I'm in.

My heart is happy to know that as a response to the worst economic depression the US had seen at that point, the sensible decision was to spend money on public art and culture. Wherever you are, the people in the past created the world you exist in now. I thought a lot about old San Francisco when making this puzzle. Im so so grateful that my SF forbears put this town together this way. When done right, we can all come together and be greater than any one of us.

So cheers to Victor, cheers to tax dollars reinforcing the important things, cheers to us, and cheers to you. Stay calm and carry on cuz i can tell you're doing all right.
