Discover the healing powers of vibration! Tibetan singing bowls have long been used to heal many ailments, from sickness to mental fatigue. These handmade singing bowls are made with 7 auspicious metals: Gold, Silver, Mercury, Tin, Copper, Iron, and Lead. Each bowl starts out as a flat plaque of all the aforementioned metals. A minimum of two people are needed to then start making the bowl. One holds the plaque of metal with big forceps and heat it, while the other people involved hammer the bowl constantly while chanting mantras. The inside of the bowl is then polished, and the outside of the bowl is left with the hammer marks of the making process. Some bowls have engravings of mantras and sacred symbols, which are hand engraved, making them a beautiful piece of art and a meditation tool.
