Vintage Pair of Small Watercolor order Tempera Paintings on Fabric in Shades of Pink - Thatched Roof Cottage and Basket of Fruit - Wooden Frames

This is a vintage pair of small original tempera paintings in lovely shades of pink. Each painting is on sheer white fabric, which has been backed with cardstock. One painting depicts a thatched-roof white cottage nestled in a colorful garden. The painting is framed under glass with a buttery colored mat, in a natural finish wooden frame. The other painting shows a colorful basket of fruit - featuring grapes, apples, pears, oranges, cherries and bananas. The painting is matted with an oval pink mat, and framed under glass in a natural finish wooden frame. Each artwork has some lace embellishments bordering the outside of the paintings. Both artworks are ready to hang, but are also a great size to sit on a shelf.

The artwork of the cottage is signed "Earlene" and dated 1998 on the lower right. This is difficult to see in the photos because the signature is done in white paint on a whitish background. The artist's full name, Earlene Jensen, appears on the reverse of the frame. The painting of the basket of fruit is not signed, but I think is likely by the same artist.
Both artworks came from the same estate in Lewisville, Texas.

Condition: The paintings are in very good condition. The frames are also in good condition, but do show slight wear here and there. The painting of the fruit order basket has no paper backing.
