Product code: Binary order Translator

This is a curious design. Do you have issues remembering what DIP switches you need to flip to add up to a certain number? Do you need to get better at adding binary numbers together? This board does the hard work for you for numbers between 0 and 255. Just switch on whichever input of the 8-bit binary bank at the top of the board and that number will be display in base-10 decimal at order the bottom. Please note the switches at the top are small and so require small nails to flip on. A majority of the cost of this unit are the 6 chips in the middle, which are NOS chips, some from the 1970's and 80's. Because of this, please take care to limit static shock to the unit.

It was fully designed and built by me, except the actual PCB's which I sent to OshPark to be printed.

This board came about after tinkering with LED's and wanting to see what could be done.

This is presented on a clear plexiglass base to show off the bottom side of the board and each comes with their own wall power plug if desired (5V and at least 1A output center positive).

They were built with US 120V 60Hz power in mind, so if your power supply is different, please note me to get a price for the unit without the power adapter.

Items are built to order, and production can take between 2 and 4 weeks, depending on availability of materials.

Any questions, please contact me, I'm always happy to answer questions.
