This antique engraving was published in Europe by W.H.Lizars in 1843 and was hand colored. The Mango Hummingbird ( Trochilus Mango ) is framed in a ready made frame with an acid free PH neutral mat. The frame is 10" high x 12" wide and the engraving is 3 order 7/8" high x 6" wide.
The print is clear and bright and the background color is a warm light beige. There is some light tanning at the bottom edge. The bird is native to the West Indies.
