Unique carved stone teapot with lid. Ceremonial? The teapot is carved on both sides and utilizes the colors of the agate. Thinking it is some kind of agate? Seems to have been hand carved but may be a combination of hand and machine.
It is very heavy...its stone!

Not sure how to use this teapot for brewing??? Seems like it would be adequate for 4 smalls cups or glasses of tea, but maybe it could be used for potpourri or something else or coffee table art, conversation starter. For a teapot collection!

Research did not unearth another! Very lovely colors order beige, pale yellow, pinkish beige and a greyish green. One side has a floral motif and the other an abstract motif...but maybe you will know more.

Seems like the carver would have started with a very big piece of stone.... body is all one piece.
