1930's order Velvet Hat...Pinned 'n Feathered!!

The 1930's style of hats was a bit demur...but considering the country was in the midst of the Great Depression, not surprising. They were none-the-less, very well made, sophisticated and very classy.

This hat is all of the above, and more...even though it's a very simple construction with a sewn-in flexible headband at one end of the hat so it fits the head snuggly and securely, and the other end is 'open'----actually, this hat can actually be worn with the band in front or back. To the side is a lovely sewn-on cluster of feather plumes, and a beautiful brass-looking flower pin with a blue stone nestled in the leaves.

The size of the hat...because of the flexible band conforming the one's head, is probably a size MEDIUM, approximately 8-1/2" in each direction.

This wonderful 1930's hat is in EXCELLENT Vintage Condition, with NO issues that I can see to even note!!
