This is an unusual vintage beaded choker in the style of Old Pawn or American Indian. Made in the 70's and purchased at a Fred Leighton jewelry shop in Greenwich Village, NYC. It's made of all natural materials, in different shapes, sizes and textures. The carved central orb is silver, but I can't identify the metal for sure (it does not react to a magnet). It measures 14", and is designed so the silver orb sits in the nook of the neck. It seems to have lost one stone, leaving a small empty space, and has a chip on one tubular bead, which is not obviously visible (see last photo). Other than that it's in excellent condition. It would be a unique statement piece for a Bobo, Hippie look. Thanks for looking!
