Product code: Histoire Secrete de la Gestapo order - in 4 Volumes - French Edition Plus Extra Paperback Book

This listing is for a (4) volume set plus there is a paperback book titled "Examen De Conscience" that is described in detail below the description of the set of 4 hardcover book set.

A (4) volume set, titled in English "History Of The Gestapo" NOTE: this set is completely in French.
From the former library of Lt. Col. J.W. Bradbury order Department of Political Science USAFA (United States Air Force Academy).

Note of interest - Lt. Col. Bradbury was a professor of political science at the US Air Force Academy. Each volume has a paper label on the inside of the front cover with Lt. Col. Bradbury's name. (as seen in close-up photo)

Jean Dumont presents in 4 volumes the history of the Gestapo, the political police of the Third Reich created by Herman Goring.

These books, all 4, are in excellent condition. Information on one of the first few pages in each volume is the following "copyright (symbol) by Editions de Cremille, Geneva 1971"

These are hardcover books and I believe the cover has a leather top layer, on the spine of the fourth volume some slight loss of the black dye shows what appears to be undyed leather beneath.

Each book has an attached red ribbon bookmark.

Each book measures 7 1/8" tall, 4 7/8" wide and has 251 or 253 numbered pages.

Description for the paperback titled Examen De Conscience. This book is in excellent condition and was found with the set of books above. This book is also in French. Information on the cover reads:
"Examen de conscience" Nous etions vaincus mais nous nous croyions innocents. by August von Kageneck.

I do not read or speak French but when typed into a translator the words above translate to:
Examination of conscience We were defeated but we thought we were innocent
The author is August von Kageneck.
This book measures 7 x 4 1/4 inches and has 214 numbered pages.

Note there is also a separate handwritten note that was found inside the cover of this book. I have no idea what it says, I'm guessing it too is in French. It will be included along with the book.
