Snail on a hill on a spiral order mug

This is a mug I threw on the wheel using a cone 6 white stoneware body.

I used slip to create raised lines to draw a snail and several tiny flowers on the outside. This drawing process is also known as slip-trailing.

I made four cups that are this same drawing idea!

Mug A: 4.75 inches tall, holds 20 fl oz
Mug B: 4.6 inches tall, holds 20 fl oz
Mug C: 4.75 inches tall, holds 19 fl oz
Mug D: 4.7 inches tall, holds 22 fl oz

The snail's shell is spot glazed with a glossy red glaze, and the snail's body is spot glazed with a glossy clear glaze. The rest of the outside of this cup was dipped in blue and then dipped sideways in an amber glaze to create a green hill that the snail is standing on.

The order inside of the cup is glazed with a food safe white glaze.
