It may not look like it from the outside, but inside this book contains all the pieces for endless creativity and imagination. It is a felt-based play book for creating all manner of monsters from included felt features and body parts. This is like a mash-up of a classic felt board and Mr Potato head. The felt pieces adhere easily to the felt order pages, but are easy to remove when done for dozens of combos and recreations.

The book contains 4 different monsters in various colors--lime green, orange, blue and purple monsters--each appliqued to its own page. Inside the back cover of the book is a small fold-out orange felt pocket that contains a teeth, noses, eyes, antennae, horns, arms, mouths, spots, a hat and many more. There are ample pieces to create all the designs seen in the photos, and more!

The book measures 12.5 inches long by 6.5 inches wide when open. The cover is made from wool felt fused with a multi-color print fabric (there are two different cover options). The cover wraps around with a handmade bias trim cord to hold it closed. The pages are all wool felt, as are the applique monsters on them. The orange pocket is also made from wool felt and closes with velcro. Everything is securely sewn in place.

While this is designed for children, it is not intended for children under the age of 3 due to all the small pieces.
