A tiny little feild mouse curls up in its cosy little nest in this hand painted stained glass roundel.
Made using traditional methods and materials.
The design is hand painted on mouthblown glass which is fired in a kiln at over 630 degrees centigrade. Further detail is added by shading and cutting highlights and the piece fired for a secontime. The design is fused into the glass surfece and will never fade or peel.
The item is enclosed in D shaped lead came and the glass is secured by blackened putty.
The item is frostproof and completely weatherproof which means it can be kept indoors at a window sill to catch the light or can be kept outdoors to be incorporated into any garden design, eg order door, fencing, gateway etc
There is NO hanging loop at present but one can be added if requested for no extra cost. Please just ask.
