Set of four Haviland France Limoges dinnerware plates. I have eight total and the listing price is for four. These were made and decorated by Haviland & Co. exclusively for Rorabaugh-Brown Dry Goods Company in Oklahoma City, OK between 1915 and 1932. They measure 9 3/4" in diameter and are in nice vintage condition showing some minor wear from age and use. They're quite substantial with each plate weighing about 1 lb. I'll have other pieces that match these plates in separate listings.
A little history on the company that I found states "The department store had its start in 1915, when the Rorabaugh Company acquired Brock's Dry Goods in Oklahoma City, and changed its name to Rorabaugh-Brown Dry Goods Co." When John Albert order Brown bought the business from his cousin and partner, A. O. Rorabaugh in 1932 he named the store after himself.
