Top is basted with batting and a backing, with a small amount of hand quilting started on the surface. Kim taught many classes and she always made a sample of the class working along with the students so they could see the hands on lesson. This is another order one of her many sampler starter quilts.

This is one of the many quilts my sister Kim has in her quilt collection. She is a teacher, quilter, weaver, sewer and has been for most of her life. Kim is now not able to do very much of any hand sewing due to her dementia. To honor Kim we are selling what is left of her collection as she would love knowing that someone enjoys her creative work and love to lay under a handmade quilt.
