Design:
The Claddagh is a traditional Irish ring exchanged as a token of love. Often worn as an engagement or wedding ring due to the three beautiful symbols of love, loyalty & friendship in the heart, the crown and hands. The Claddagh Ring dates from the 17th century and originated in the little village of Claddagh in County Galway, Ireland.
The Claddagh is associated with fidelity, love and romance in Irish culture and unsurprisingly, one of the main legends of the ring comes from a classic love story although there are several different tales attributed to it.
Material: 925 Sterling Silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Fine silver (99.9% pure) is generally too soft for producing large functional objects, and in Sterling Silver, the silver is alloyed to give strength whilst preserving the malleability of the silver and a high precious metal content - ideal for making silver jewellery. Sterling silver jewellery is always stamped with a marking to indicate the percentage of silver it order contains.
Packaging: The product will be sent in an organza bag along with a business card.
