Vintage Santa Hurricane order Lamps Santa Salt Pepper Shakers Ceramic Christmas MG Japan Mid Century Collectibles Decorations Figurines

A tough shaker set to find... Two little Santa's, each hanging on to the edge of a hurricane lamp. It looks as though they were climbing, finally making it to the top. Made in Japan for Menschik Goldman (M.G.), Santa salt is holding a large candy cane, while the pepper has a gift, wrapped in green ribbon. The bodies of the lamps are sprinkled with holly and berries, with a base trimmed out with more presents, candy canes, wrapped up in a red ribbon and a sprig of holly, front and center.

Each measures approximately 4¾” tall, 2½” wide, 2” deep and are in excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs, no significant paint loss, a bit of fine line crazing noted. Both retain the original © M.G. Japan green foil labels, are stamped and dated 1960.
