This elegant cake stand features a starburst pattern on the raised edge cake plate with a fluted pedestal and frosted coin impressions of both the Liberty Bell and George Washington on the pedestal base. A dropped skirt from the cake plate reflects the light so beautifully! The simple, yet chic presentation of this crystal pedestal cake stand is a perfect complimentary piece of décor with anything from farmhouse style to minimal-classic design.

Fostoria is one of the more widely known and collected glassware companies and has a very active collectors club. The company first began production in 1887, and was later sold to the Lancaster Colony Corporation after their decline in the 1970's. Lancaster discontinued Fostoria production in 1983 increasing the demand for this highly collectable piece! This cake stand's "Coin Pattern" was #1372 in Fostoria's catalog, and was made from 1958 to 1982.
