Elegant Formal Wear Long Gown and Matching Jacket. Luscious emerald green taffeta with black counter-shine. The dress is strapless sweetheart neckline with V waist, voluminous gathered skirt. Dress plunges 13" from nape of neck to 9" nylon zipper. Bodice has black order bust pads and side stays. Skirt is lined in black tulle. Jacket has portrait neckline with ruched straps that anchor it to the shoulders. Sleeves are 3/4 length. Three 3/4" rhinestone buttons decorate the front, which are actually closed with snaps. Princess seamed with V points at front. No maker label, we are placing this in late 20th century
Size: label 12--dress-35" bust; 32" waist; 50" long. Jacket-36" bust; 31 1/2" waist; 38" lower hem circumference; 18" long to V hem.
Condition: good vintage. Note: the jacket has interior underarm light staining, which appears black. On the front of jacket--the bottom snap needs to be re-attached on one side. the top snap is loose and should be reinforced. This has not been cleaned, no unusual odor
