Ireland First Porcelain Doll “Turf Boy” by Judy Cuddy. This amazingly detailed doll was handmade using the finest porcelain clay in Middleton order, Co. Cork, Ireland in 1987. He has solid porcelain clay head, body, legs, and arms with joints at neck, hips, and shoulders. Dressed in knitted sweater vest over a button up cotton shirt. His pants and hat are made of fine woolen cloth. His socks are traditional white under his non-removable stitched leather shoes. Hand painted face features blue eyes and a bow mouth. His blond hair is non-removable. Overall height is 14 1/2”. Made by Judy Cuddy is molded into the back of doll's neck. Original tags are pinned by ribbon. He is in perfect vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or marking.
