This fly wallet is made from 6 oz vegetable tanned leather, from USA tanneries, utilizing domestically sourced beef hides. Every piece is cut by hand, no cookie cutter leather goods from our shop. It is hand finished, assembled, and sewn with USA made and sourced thread. Snaps used are solid brass, and will not rust, nor turn green. Our leather finish is a proprietary leather balm we make in house expressly for finishing our leather goods, and it provides a supple and durable water repellent finish.

The replaceable wool felt pages in this fly wallet are crafted from 100% wool felt made in the USA, and provide secure fly storage, yet provide easy fly removal in the field. Additional or replacement wool felt pages are available for purchase separately if desired, fly wallet comes equipped with two pages as seen in the accompanying photographs.

This Fly Book is truly unique, being imminently practical in the field, and a visually striking conversation piece in the office. It should provide years of satisfying service, and attain a natural, pleasing patina with use.

I began doing leatherwork when I was 10 years old in a local 4-H club, and developed a love for the practicality and durable beauty of well-crafted leather goods. During high-school and college years that leatherworking became saddle and tack repair along with original and patterned leather goods made for friends, family, and customers. Today, 50 years later, that affinity for working leather is tempered and directed by a lifetime of outdoor experience to craft aesthetically pleasing, practical, and durable leather goods designed expressly to enhance and enrich an outdoor lifestyle.
