Antique Double Picture Frame Folk Art Primitive Hand Carved - Needs Repair

Awesome primitive double picture frame, circa 1890s
Measures 18 1/2" top to toe, and 10 3/4" wide when closed (outside edges)
The picture openings are 4 1/4" x 6 3/4" on the back, and 3 3/4" x 5 1/2" on the face of the left one.
Left side is in decent shape - carved branches, maple leaves and flowers
Similar carvings on the right, but , sadly, 2 panels are missing, center top and bottom.
The top hinge needs screws.
Tabs on the back to hold pictures in place are missing, except for one on the good side.
Suggestion: - separate the 2 pieces, and use the left one as a wall picture frame, and use the right side for another project
