Charles R. Twelvetrees was a prolific cartoonist and illustrator who drew the Twelvetrees Kids on Valentines, postcards, etc. Horsman Dolls trademarked this style of dolls in 1925. This listing is for a pair of fraternal twins, two of Horsman's HEbee-SHEbee dolls. This pair was made in 1986. Made of vinyl with painted features, chubby limbs, fat cheeks, rolls on the backs of their necks, and bald heads. Horsman dolls had both happy and sad faces. They are dressed in sailor outfits complete with sailor hats with red anchors and red neckties. Molded blue and pink booties, tied with ribbon, and underclothes. These dolls are in pristine condition and have never been 'played with'. The backs of their necks are impressed with a Horsman logo and the date 1986. Further down the body on their backs is impressed MADE IN CHINA. 11" tall. order
