Native American Zuni Turquoise order Coral Jet MOP Sterling Silver Thunderbird Old Pawn Pendant Signed Necklace 18"

This Old Pawn Zuni turquoise, red coral, jet, mother of pearl & sterling silver thunderbird pendant necklace was purchased in Central, New Mexico.

This colorful thunderbird pendant necklace measures 18 inches long. The sterling silver chain necklace is all sterling except the eye of the clasp which is silver plated. The blue turquoise, red coral, jet mother of pearl & sterling silver pendant measures 1 1/2 inches tall including the bale, just under 5/8 inch wide and 1/8 inch deep. All the stones appear to be natural. The back of this necklace is hand signed with the initials "C C N with a cross or a "t" to the left. This wonderful vintage thunderbird pendant necklace weighs 3.8 grams for all day comfort.

Zuni craftsmanship is considered the most intricate and detailed of all southwest Indians.
