Vintage Large order Jewelled Gunsmoke Cat-Eyed Sunglasses (Italy) 1950

A great store basement find
Condition: unused (leftover old store stock)
A classic vintage jewelled cateyed decorated sunglass
Made in Italy (1950)

Frame made of gunsmoke plastic with 4 imitation rhinestones and molded on silver beading
The sunglass has its original brown glass lenses which absorb ultra violet and infra red rays of the sun
Temples are attached order to the frame with a 5 barrel metal hinge
Metal hinges are pinned to the front of the frame and to the sides of the temples
Temples marked Italy
The hinges and temples are attached together by a mini screw
Measures approximately: 5.5 inches on the length of the frame, 1 7/8 by 1 5/8 inches on the lenses and 5 inches on the length of the temple
All our sunglasses are vintage and it is normal for these items to show some signs of wear do to general aging
Even though it is new old stock it may need to be taken to a optical for adjustment
Most sunglasses are plastic molded and may have some defective markings, scratches, paint drips and excess plastic (may need filing) from the molds when they were manufactured in the factory plant
