This beautiful vintage doll head was painted in her natural found state. Easter inspired or just playful everyday fun, she is a vintage/antique composition doll head that sits upon a porcelain pillar that has been painted to look like a beautiful coat that she might've worn in bygone times. Vintage bonnet included. Chips, Cracks and crazing were left to retain her authentic and vintage integrity. Pre-1930
I decided to leave her as she was and let her speak to my inner creative
Upon painting her I felt this little girly come alive again. Perhaps she'll sit on a shelf for the curious or adorn a fancy boudoir.
I hope that you will see the darkly haunting beauty that I saw upon her discovery.
