Butterfly Blue Mosaic On order Stone

order This MosaicOnStone represent a Blue Butterfly.

I use local stone from Lake Ontario as a base. The mosaic is constructed using a print of my photo cut to size then covered with plain glass. The exposed part of the stone is covered with stain glass glued with Thin-Set. It is grouted with Ultracolor Plus FA.

It is weather proof rain, or light snow, display in garden, desk, door stop. It is self standing, with grouting as a the base.

Size about 4.25 by 3 inches (Mosaic), stone 1 deep, about 1 of a pound.

MosaicOnStone are rather unique decoration, due to weight I limit the size of the stone to about a hand size, the small size of the mosaic requires to reduce details and requires more attention to the shape and size of the tessarea.

I take part at the local Farmer's Market and the mosaic are very welcome I am sure any one would find this mosaic a valuable addition to flower garden or home.
