Our Lady Primavera and the Hummingbird is a vibrant, colorful image of the Joy of Spring. She is shown in the snow of this morning in Santa Fe and promises that Spring is near. I love how she looks up against the white beautiful snow. She is a Spring Goddess out in the Garden, surrounded by flowers and the Hummingbird. My original painting from which this print is taken, is an homage to my favorite art on this subject, Botticelli's "Primavera". My image includes a hummingbird, many of whom flit about my garden sipping the endless nectar from the flowers. Hummingbirds are themselves joyful representations of a Life well Lived. My image is meant to convey the Beauty that is Spring and the Joy that it brings in the Garden and everywhere on Earth.
