Lovely and elegant framed hand colored lithograph, showing a 19th century streetscape, probably of Edinburgh, Scotland. The scene depicts the buildings along a brick-paved street, along with people and a few dogs. Engraved by T. Stewart, drawn and probably hand tinted by D. Wilson from a sketch by D. Somerville. Nicely matted and under glass in a simple deep 2-tone gilded frame. I have not disassembled the frame to see if there is any more information about the piece inside. The frame measures about 11 1/2" wide by 9 5/8" high by 3/4" deep and the sight size is about 6 3/4" by 5". Matted, under glass, wired, and ready to hang. In good condition.
