Finely order Knitted Estonian Mittens in Natural Brown and Red - warm and windproof

Knitted with two colored yarn (natural brown and red) in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The red yarn is hand dyed, the darkest brown is natural sheep color, both 100% wool from Estonia. Tightly knitted using order 0-size needles and DK-weight yarn, they are perfect to block wind and wear in winter.

This pattern is a widely used 8-corner star, which is an ancient powerful protective motif. That specific pattern was picked to Estonian national Museum from Nõo Village in Tartu County.
