The Phonecians built the salt flats near Trapani thousands of years ago and this same ancient salt can still be harvested sustainably and naturally from salt flats in the region. This variety is the fine grain salt the size is the same you would use in a salt shaker at home. This salt is taken from the ocean and packaged without any cleaning, refinement, or additives of any kind.
