This is a fantastic, unusual, large and strong pair of old metal brackets. These are rusty and a bit crusty, and they'd look smashing supporting a wood shelf or used as a step ladder. The texture of the metal is enhanced by the patina that has built up over the years. Each one is marked "DARWIN". These are a versatile large size. The long axis is 12 3/4" and the short axis is 6 1/4", and they are a sturdy 2 9/16" wide at the order Darwin step. There are 4 fixed holes and two variable slots in the mountings so these can support a shelf or counter. Each one weighs about 2 1/2 pounds so the pair weigh about 5 pounds.
