Order Grahmcracker Crust hood frankensweater upcycled recycled 47

It seems that there are many people who like to eat dessert first. I think this is the same type of people who want just a hood from one of my coats. after saying "I don't know how that would work." for several years, one particularly insistent franken-connoisseur said "do it /this/ way". So, I'm giving it a try.

This hood was sewn together from premade sweaters. There one has lambswool, other wool, acrylic and cotton.
It is 15" from the top of the hood to the ...collar (?) and 30" long from front to the end of the order tail. The ribbons are 32" long.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Every sweater is washed once in hot water and dried on high before I begin. This, however, only means it Shouldn't shrink any more, not that it won't if washed in hot.

Machine wash COLD, DRY FLAT!!!

And please remember, I work with unwanted sweaters. You may find patches, mends, signs of it's last life. I don't like stains, and will avoid them, and unraveling is unacceptable, but other character marks may be in the final piece.

RETURNS

I will take back any of my garments if you contact me within 2 weeks of receiving it and it is returned to me within a month.Note, any returns must happen before you wash it. I will happily take it back if you pay the shipping. I want my pieces to find homes that will love them, but I expect them to be returned in all their original packaging, and in the condition you received them in. No pet hair or perfumes. Please do not hang your frankensweater if you have any thought of returning it. Because of the nature of knit fabric,the weight of the garment on a hanger is not good for the shoulders.

CUSTOM ORDERS

I will do special orders, however, because of the amount of customization I need to do to make your piece perfectly yours, it takes twice as long to make, so the price will be about twice as much as an equivalent "off the shelf" piece.


INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
Please be aware that there may be VAT fees or other customs taxes on your end. I have no control over this and have no idea what they are. It pains me that this might take frankensweaters out of reach for some people because I have done my best to keep them reasonably priced.
Frankensweater will not falsify customs forms.
