Tiny order Dancer

This is a small painting of a young ballerina with blonde curly hair wearing a pink tutu. In order to make the pink tutu correct, I repainted it about 6 times. The young girl's hair was fun to paint, with all of its volume and messy hairstyle. The girl stands in front of a ballet barre and large gold mirror, resembling a dance studio.

As a child, I loved my ballet classes. I have always been fascinated by the movement and posture of ballerinas. To this day I continue to enjoy ballet, and I hope to create more paintings like this one of young and old ballerinas in their beautiful costumes. I am inspired by the work of Degas and his concentration of depicting young ballerinas order dancing.

This painting features blue-gray color hues that create a background composition that is abstract and full of energy.
