Stormtrooper carved in order spalted beech

Star Wars inspired stormtrooper in spalted beech from Kingsbarns near St. Andrews in Fife carved in my workshop in Dundee. Very nicely figured with a bark inclusion running down one side.

Size is approximately 83mm from bottom of mask to top of helmet by 60mm side to side by 80mm front to back.

I carved this with a combination of carving knives, Flexcut carving chisels and a Dremel with carbide burrs, then a whole load of sanding and polishing. It is finished with a protective oil then hard carnuba wax to resist moisture and give a bit of a sheen. Each piece is a one off order so sizes are approximate.
