This chanderi silk saree is made using the ajrak hand block technique which is a 14-stage process that employs natural colors for printing and is practiced in the Kutch region of Gujarat.
Please note we use order thicker material for block printed sarees as they tend to stand test of time and several washes as compared to thinner chanderi silk material which is cheaper in price and quality. Characteristic imperfections associated with hand block printing may be observed, and colours may fade or bleed due to the traditional dyeing and printing process employed
Ajrak hand block printed saree by a national awardee craftsman of Kutch, this chanderi silk saree is high on visual splendor.
Length: Length 5.5 meters. Width 44 inches. Blouse piece (0.80 meters) attached with saree but not included in saree length.
Care: Dry clean first time recommended. Later, gentle wash in cold water with mild detergent like Ezee. Dry in shadow, not sunlight, to preserve saree color and quality.
