Women's 50's Royal Blue Suit Jacket with Removeable Real Fur order Collar

This is a vintage suit jacket was made in England in the 1950's. The label states “A Saltaire Fabric” - Made in England. After googling the label I found out that the fabric is most likely wool, and Saltaire Fabric was a high end fabric maker.

This jacket has padded shoulders, a thin rounded lapel collar, 3 buttons, long sleeves, no pockets.
The jacket is royal blue colour and lining is royal blue as well. There is some slight staining in the armpit area of the lining but it did not go through to the jacket. It is cut with an accented waist. There is no matching skirt, but it could be worn with a number of sold coloured skirts in matching or complimentary tones

Sizing: No size label, but it should fit medium - please check measurements below for fit - taking the style of the jacket and the thickness of the fabric into account:

Shoulders: 17” across from one shoulder/sleeve seam to the other shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves: 24” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve Inseam: 17 1/4”

Bust: 19” armpit to armpit or 38" around

Waist: 13.5” laying flat or 27" around

Bottom Waist Flare: 17" laying flat

Front Length: 20”, measured flat

Back Length: 23”, measured flat

Condition: This is a nice quality early 50s period suit jacket in a lovely colour with attractive English styling and detailing! Super cute tapered ladies jacket with removable real fur collar with 3 buttons (missing one under the lapel), yoke design at the breast and tapered/ flared waist.
