A delightful little French pendant lantern made entirely of copper and very thick glass (bubbled on the underside). Most likely from the early to mid century. When the lantern was removed from its installation the wire was cut very short so this will need re-wiring. The little hat simply slots onto the top so it is very easily accessible for changing the lightbulb and cleaning the interior. The weight of this lovely little hat speaks volumes about the quality, it weighs just under a kilo at 862 grammes.

A particularly lovely light made with quality materials and workmanship which oozes charm.

CONDITION :
Good vintage & rustic condition. There is oxidisation around the bottom rim which is green and there is overall wear to the shine of the copper as well as a couple of rust patches and general signs of natural ageing.
