Darling 1920s pink order velveteen cloche w/peaked trim Teen / Small size

This 20s hat is, as the label says, a Little Darling! An original 1920s cloche hat, it was originally for an older order girl or teen, but the style is just as right for a small adult. In a pretty dusty pink velveteen, the silhouette is classic 1920s, with a deep crown, closely fitted and cut in 6 segments, with a brief little turn up brim to perch over those eyes; and set at the front is a jaunty peaked panel in the self fabric, with multicolour stitched rows, a very Art Deco detail. A darling original hat indeed, its ready to finish that 1920s ensemble to period perfection, starting at the top!

Labels: Gold label reads 'Little Darling.. trade mark'. Lined in fine pink chiffon.

Condition: This hat is in good vintage condition. NO popped seams, NO fade, it is strong and ready to wear. Lining has separations and areas of wear. Some fray to overlocking on edge of front stitched panel, see pic; some faint tanning along fold of tiny brim, see pic, and a group of tiny pindots and flaws towards top of crown on one side, see other pic provided. Small signs of a long life, this hat is very robust and ready to wear.
