As in much of my work, A-symmetry is prominent in this design. The unevenly placed circles give an interesting 'off balance' and slightly chaotic flow to the piece. I added a dramatic, distressed texture to the central circle to give a rustic vibe to the piece and to create contrast with the vibrant, flashing moonstone.

Moonstone is a variety of the Feldspar mineral group order, named for its white colour and lustrous blue sheen which is reminiscent of silky moonlight. It is said that in Ancient times it was actually believed to be made from solidified rays of the moon
