Queen Anne's Lace silver and gold ring, recycled 10k, sterling order silver wire cage, botanical seed pod shape, minimalist stacking ring for her

This ring (and many other designs) was directly inspired by a photo of a bead of ice held in the skeleton of a Queen Anne's lace flower that I found while snowshoeing on New Year's day (see the last photo.) I saw this order phenomenon on many hikes last winter, as we had a lot of ice and snow, and I have been so taken with these beautiful structures ever since. Even in summer their lovely lines continue to show up in my work.

This fabricated sterling silver ring centres around a tiny gleaming bead of recycled 10k gold, circled by handmade tendril prongs that conjure the architecture of Queen Anne's Lace flowers. The compact and playful design features a shiny polish and light patina on the silver to enhance the depth of the cage of stems. Each upwardly flowing tendril terminates with a beaded, shiny tip. While the ring in the listing photos has been sold, your ring is a close copy of the one pictured (only with a smooth, unhammered band - however I can hammer it if you like!), and any subtle differences make your ring truly one of a kind!

This head of this ring measures approximately 1 cm (10 mm) in diameter, and the cage of tendrils stands approximately 8mm high from the shank. Each of the 8 tendrils is made from .8mm sterling silver wire, and the at their centre sits a 3mm bead of recycled 14k yellow gold. The silver has been lightly patinated for depth and the golden centre has been polished to a gleaming shine. The comfortable 2mm round silver shank has a smoothly finished surface, and the entire ring has been polished to a high shine. This ring is approximately size 6 3/4, and can be sized up a bit (by hammering the shank, with a finish similar to the photos) but it can be made in any size, with gold, silver or copper centres; just convo me for more info.
