I present to you a wooden primitive weaving tool. Wooden loom shuttle, part of a loom. The loom is a device (machine) for weaving fabrics or rugs. The main purpose of the loom is to keep the threads of the fabric taut. In this way it is possible to intertwine the individual longitudinal and transverse threads. The shuttle is the carrier of the transverse thread. Each subsequent row of fabric is created by moving the "upper" threads down and the "lower" threads up. The shuttle is then passed between the threads again and the process is repeated.
What is a shuttle? The elongated wooden frame with pointed ends, in which yarn is attached to a weft and passed between the threads of the warp when weaving. Part of a weaving loom.
