Two wonderful hand made French antique pottery confit pots, sourced from a recent Vide Grenier.
Lovely heavy, thick pottery pots with handles for an authentic rustic or farmhouse feel. These French pottery pots/ cups have a soft non-shiny, unvarnished mat finish in natural earthy tones.

SOLD as found with a lace ribbon from the region of Alencon, Normandie, tied around the rim.

Beautiful pots with an ancient Greek style, due to the soft warm colours. The dominant colour is terracotta soft light brown exterior colour, the inside being lighter stone beige tone.

The shapes are imperfect, as can be expected from an artisan Handmade pottery piece.

In very Good general condition. The base of the rim has some wear but very good condition - and the pottery finish is a little uneven, no chips or hairline cracks. A well used patina, a few surface scratches and a chip along the top rim (see pictures), having no effect on the stability of the pot adding to its vintage charm, imperfections and discoloration of the overall patina. The inside of the pot is in very very good condition. Perfectly watertight, minor defects as you would expect from an antique item. Very nice weight! Very good vintage condition.
