Ren faire Renaissance steampunk woodsman-style hip ax with order leather holster

This is a real steel wood ax that has been in our household for over 40 years. I've always liked the shape and feel of it and thought it would look cool as heck being worn for the looks of it.

The original holster has fall apart, so I reproduced it out of brand-new, very thick cowhide and dyed it to give it that old-leather look. Also wrapped the handle in incredibly soft pigskin - feel almost like human skin.
I also reground the edge, though it's not a professional sharpening job.
