Artist's Note:

Carved out by glaciers, Tenaya Lake is a gorgeous alpine lake located at the top of Yosemite's Tioga Pass, which is only open during the summer months. After spending an afternoon swimming in the cold waters, I knew I had to take a shot that captured the feeling of refreshment and renewal in the heart of nature. For what it's worth, the drive through Tioga Pass may also just be the most scenic route in all of Yosemite National Park.
