Beautiful antique French ladies travelling manicure case dating from the early 1900's.

This pretty single manicure case has been covered inside and out in pale pink velvet trimmed with pale cream braid and decorated with 2 pretty tassels. This case is designed to be hung and then folded ready for travelling. The top has a section of pretty braid stitched into place which serves as a hanging point, the outside edge has been decorated with a pretty cream bread, inside there are several sections in assorted shapes and sizes that will hold a good assortment of manicure and personal care items.

Weighing 170 g for unwrapped.

Measuring 31.5 cm (12 1/2") high (top of the hanging cord to the base) 24 cm x 30.5 cm (9 1/2" x 12") across the case when laid out flat,11cm x 24 cm when folded and 3 cm thick.

In fantastic condition for age and use,no rips or tares but some light foxing to the velvet consistent with age.
