Product code: Vintage order 1940s 1950s Rayon Kimono Haori, Hollywood Film Costume Movie Memorabilia
Beautiful short kimono, or haori, in white rayon. Trimmed in pink and embellished with silver flowers. This is a woman's haori. See photos. My best guess as to age of this is 1940s to 1950s. No labels. Fully Lined. This comes from an enormous collection of Old order Hollywood Movie Costumes I was lucky enough to stumble across. More about those later after the measurements so please read on... Excellent vintage condition. The arm holes are a bit more open than they perhaps should be, especially on the right side, but that's just a seam that needs restitching. The biggest flaw is the discoloration down both sleeves and shoulders. The silver flowers once had some sort of center, a bead or something, that has mostly come off, leaving a base stitched. Please note that all items in this Costume section may have minor other flaws (for example; missing snaps, small areas of loose seams, pinholes, etc...) that I have not listed as it's just not possible to find and or list every minor thing as.
