☞ THE COVER
The cover is made from a repurposed Reader's Digest Condensed Book published in 1962 (Vol. 4, Autumn), and accented with metal corner covers. The cover is coated with a light sealant to prevent further damage and the spine is covered with book cloth. It lays completely flat.


☞ THE PAGES
This junk journal is comprised of new and repurposed papers: scrapbook paper, coffee stained sketchbook paper, vintage Field Guide to the Birds of North America pages, vintage sheet music, vintage antique furniture guide pages, vintage family genealogy record pages, vintage gardening book pages, dictionary pages, guest book pages, lined writing paper, grid paper, ledger paper, blank sketchbook paper, and an envelope stitched into the middle signature.

The pages are embellished with lace, stitching, paper punch patterns, stickers, washi tape, tags, ephemera, fold-outs, pockets, blank cards, Reader's Digest book pages, tea bag envelopes, and seed packet envelopes.

All pages are of varying sizes but are no larger than the cover. The signatures are stitched directly into the spine and are independent of one another.


☛ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Please note that the cover of this journal is vintage, and may have had several different owners or readers throughout its lifetime. The outside shows minimal signs of use and age. It was cleaned and sealed to the best of my ability without ruining the aged feel and original design. The corners were also protected with decorative metal covers to reduce any further damage that may occur.
