Two Vintage 1993 Hans Henrik Hansen Christmas order Collectible Plates- Royal Copenhagen "The Skating Party" And Bing & Grondahl "Santa's Gifts"

This is a lovely pair of vintage 1993 Christmas holiday collectible plates from Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl, Denmark designed by the artist Hans Henrik Hansen. The Royal order Copenhagen Plate is titled "Skojtelob" or "The Skating Party" and is Plate No. 3172 in the third edition in the Christmas in Denmark collector's series. It features a family of four in bright colorful Victorian style clothes ice skating together on a frozen lake and has a dark green border around the rim decorated with red bows, gold accents and trim and the year "1993". The plate measures approximately 8 3/8" in diameter. The second plate is titled "Julemandens gaver" or "Santa's Gifts" and is Plate No. 2372 in the 1993 Santa Claus Collection by Bing & Grondahl. The bright colorful design on this plate features Santa Claus and his activities on Christmas Eve. He is delivering presents in the living room of a home decorated for the holiday with stockings, a Christmas tree and a roaring fire. The plate has a green and red holly and berry border and is highlighted with 24 karat gold accents and trim and measures 8" in diameter. Both plates come ready to hang with two holes on the back and are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, with light surface wear on the gold accents and wear on the bottom rims.
